BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The Irish Cancer Society is the national cancer charity in Ireland

achieved by funding life-saving, collaborative cancer research,
providing up to date information about cancer, delivering a range of
services to improve the lives of people living with cancer and their
families, and by influencing change and raising awareness of cancer
issues at the government level.

THE ROLE:

The Direct Marketing Officer will assist in the development and
delivery of Regular Giving, Direct Marketing, Tax and Legacy Giving
campaigns with the aim of increasing income and developing long-term
committed relationships with donors to meet revenue goals.

* Provide support on all direct marketing campaigns for fundraising.
* Plan, execute and analyse performance of donor segments against
targets for response, engagement, acquisition, retention, donation
amount and life-time-value.
* Provide frequent updates, insights and recommendations as you
track campaign performance.
* Work with the Donor Development Manager in review of results and
planning for the year.
* Induct, train, and manage the delivery of activities of temporary
and volunteer staff.
* Monitor competitors and market performance, identifying new
initiatives and building business cases for test and learn pilot
programmes.

The role is ideally suited to someone who has the equivalent of

across multiple channels, from end to end, on time and on budget. The
successful candidate will have an understanding of how to effectively
use database for direct marketing purposes. Experience with a CRM that
is similar to Dynamics or Salesforce would be valued.
