ENGINEERING MANAGER - MANUFACTURING EXCELLENCE As Stryker continues to
show unprecedented growth, we are looking for a candidate to join our
team as an Engineering Manager - Manufacturing Excellence. This is a

This is a permanent role based in Ireland. We are flexible regarding
the specific location of the successful candidate as you will be part
of a diverse global team, however proximity to a global Stryker
facility would be advantageous.
The role will ideally suit a candidate with excellent change
management & influencing capabilities and a strong technical aptitude
ideally in the areas of packaging & inspection.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

_YOU WILL_ be responsible for accelerating the pace and effectiveness
of new platforms supporting integrated automated solutions to our
packaging, labelling and inspection processes.

_YOU WILL_ partner with key stakeholders to establish long term plans
on selected processes supported by technology roadmaps.

Technical oversight and leadership for programmes and for setting
technical direction and competency framework for the multi-site
engineering team.

* A KEY PART OF YOUR ROLE WILL BE TO PARTNER with the global
Engineering network to secure engagement and alignment on strategic
intent and roadmaps.
* Motivate all franchises and functions to work together in pursuit
of long-term integrated solutions for targeted platforms.
* Clearly communicate intent including technology roadmaps to support
each of the selected platforms.
* Deploy long term plans to deliver integrated packaging, labelling
and inspection platforms across all franchises.
* Establish a consistent approach to measuring and rolling
engineering standards across the group.
* Drive a culture of innovation within the function by developing and
implementing engineering forums and reviews for the engineering team.
* Drive high levels of employee engagement through a highly effective
support structure developed and implemented for all engineers.

WHAT YOU NEED:

* B.S in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline

experience.
* Broad based business experience in high performance multi-national
enterprise, at least 3 years of which has been spent in operations
and/or technical leadership level
* Excellent Interpersonal Skills - able to express ideas and
collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Be open minded
with the ability to recognise good ideas.
* Strong capability to network and influence at all organisation
levels.

_ABILITY TO_ build networks externally and leverage appropriately.
* Both a logical and strategic thinker with the ability to identify
and seize opportunities to advance the Stryker mandate.
* Demonstrated project management and engineering expertise
associated with new process introduction in a regulated environment.
* Strong analytical ability with a high aptitude for understanding
systems, gathering data and performing research.
*
_MUST BE_ able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and
have the ability to understand geometrical dimensioning and
tolerancing.
* Detailed understanding of the validation and verification process
and its application relating to new products.
* Green or Black Belt 6 Sigma qualifications an advantage.
* Excellent attention to detail.
