JOB PURPOSE

The primary purpose of this role is to support the Finance team in
managing the day-to-day accounting operations, and in the production
of monthly management reporting. You will also support the Year End
processes and ad-hoc finance team projects as required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage company ledgers and daily financial transactions.
* Preparation of the monthly management accounts (including, fixed
asset register, prepayments, accruals, bank reconciliations,
reconciliation of all control accounts and supporting documentation
for all balance sheet accounts)
* Manage all financial aspects of grants and donations.
* Responsible for Accounts Payable & Receivable.
* Prepare the annual financial statements for audit (the financial
statements are presented in accordance with the Statement of
Recommended Practice **Apply on the website**, Accounting and
Reporting by Charities).
* Assist in liaising with the auditors during their annual audit
including preparing audit files containing all supporting
documentation. Ensure all information per the auditor?s checklist is
included on the file.
* Support the payroll function by providing accurate and timely
information.
* Other finance duties relevant to this position which may arise ?
as the Finance function continues to develop

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE

* 2- 3 years? experience in a similar role
Part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) or qualified Accounting
Technician
* Fluent written and spoken English.
* Proficient in the use of MS Office applications and computerised
accounting packages

* Ability to multi task and prioritise.
