FUNDRAISING TEAM?S PURPOSE: Our purpose is to develop sustainable
income sources for Threshold to enable us to deliver our vital
services. To achieve this we will continue to develop and grow
Threshold?s fundraising programme.

JOB PURPOSE: The Individual Giving Co-ordinator will lead on the
design and implementation of Thresholds individual giving fundraising
programmes across multiple channels, with responsibility in particular
for Threshold?s Direct Mail, Donor Acquisition, Donor
Communications, Regular Giving and Legacy with the ability to develop
new individual giving programmes.

REPORTS TO: Fundraising Manager

LOCATION: Flexible. While this role is based in Threshold, First Floor

Great, Dublin 1 other working locations will be considered.
As a result of Covid-**Apply on the website** working from home will
also be an essential requirement of this role until Threshold return
to office protocols are activated.

successful completion of a 6-month probationary period and Garda
Vetting.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

The Individual Giving Executive is a key role in the Fundraising Team,
with a particular focus on Threshold?s Donor Development programmes.
These include:

DIRECT MAIL:

* Leading on Direct Mail appeals for the team, you will project
manage all aspects from data selection to creative development and
print management. This will involve managing Threshold?s
relationships with external suppliers and providers such as creative
agencies and printers.
* Analyse and segment the pool of donors and create tailored
approaches based on best practice to recruit, retain and increase the
base of support.
* Manage the testing of new donation channels, giving levels, and
products based on audience insight and sector trends.
* Using Threshold?s database (Salesforce) as a key tool to support
our Direct Mail campaigns.
* Analysing and reporting on all Direct Mail Appeals with a view to
continuously improving response rates, average gifts and return on
investment.
* You will be creative and ambitious in bringing Threshold?s brand
and message to our audiences, with the opportunity to test new
initiatives in this area.

NEW DONOR RECRUITMENT:

* Lead on New Donor Acquisition campaigns for the team, across
multiple channels. This will involve managing Threshold?s
relationships with external suppliers and providers such as creative
agencies and printers.
* Using Threshold?s database as a key tool to target new audiences
and support Donor Acquisition campaigns via Direct Mail.
* Analysing and reporting on all Donor Acquisition Direct Mail
Appeals with a view to recruiting committed donors, and continuously
improving response rates, average gifts and return on investment.

DONOR COMMUNICATIONS:

* Contributing to a donor communications plan which will engage
Threshold?s donors to help develop and grow their support.
* Contributing to Donor Communications, including newsletter
mailings, thank you communications, e-mail campaigns, and the
development of new initiatives in this area.
* Overseeing Threshold?s donor care to ensure we are proving
efficient, effective and engaging donor care which makes our donors
feel valued and engaged.
* Using Threshold?s database as a key tool to support our Donor
Communications

REGULAR GIVING:

* You will implement Threshold?s current Regular Giving programme,
ensuring Regular Givers feel valued and engaged in Threshold?s work,
and that we are providing excellent donor care to our Regular Givers.
* Leading on campaigns to upgrade and reactivate Regular Gifts
* Working closely with the Fundraising Manager on future Regular
Giving recruitment campaigns, assisting in the planning and
implementation of the campaigns.

SUPPORT TO THE FUNDRAISING TEAM:

* You will provide support to the Fundraising Team on a variety of
other fundraising activities and campaigns as required and agreed.
* Working as a key member of the Fundraising Team, you will
contribute to the development, planning and strategy of the
Fundraising Team.
* Responsibility for the supervision and training of other team
members as required and as agreed with the Fundraising Manager.
* Identify opportunities to design, test and implement new campaigns
including; DRTV, New Donor Acquisition, Face to Face.

comfortable in establishing effective working relationships with
colleagues and external suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS:

* We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years? experience
in leading and delivering Direct Mail campaigns and a minimum of 4
years? experience in a fundraising team.
* You will demonstrate experience of 1) delivering on income targets
for direct marketing campaigns 2) project management of direct
marketing campaigns and 3) utilising the donor database to support
donor communications and 4) working with external providers.
* You will be passionate about making donors feel valued, engaged
and a vital part of the organisation they are supporting.
* Experience in working on Regular Giving, Donor Acquisition, Legacy
and Face to Face or DRTV programmes is also desirable.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience of Salesforce essential.
* Excellent organisational and project management skills
* Proficient IT skills with excellent attention to detail
* Excellent numerical skills and ability to analyse campaign
results.
* Self-starter with initiative and ability to think creatively and
identify opportunities.
* Ability to work to deadlines and multi task.
* Excellent writing and editing skills, ability to draft and edit
fundraising and direct marketing copy.
* A team player with an open and flexible attitude and warm and
courteous manner.
* Flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
* A formal marketing, business or fundraising qualification would be
an advantage.
