Early Years Education Assistant Manager

community based _education, training and development_ project which is
concerned with giving participants the opportunity to become involved
in their own development and the development of their community.??
LYCS operates the following programmes: _Early Years, Community
Training Centre, Youth Work Programme, Adult Education Programme and a
CE Scheme._
LYCS?s Early Years Education Service currently provides **Apply on
the website** childcare places over two sessions (mornings &
afternoons).? We also facilitate accredited training & educational
programmes to support staff development.
Your role will be to work with the Early Years Education Manager to
lead a team of staff and ensure the effective and efficient direction
of the human, financial and material resources of the Childcare
Centre.

The successful candidate will work with the Early Years Education
Manager to:
* Deliver a high quality early years? service.
* Ensure policies and procedures are followed by all staff
* Support staff development.
* Have oversight of curriculum, programme planning and
documentation.
* Build positive relationships with parents and ensure all staff
engage and communicate appropriately with parents.
* Ensure financial operations and all POBAL/PIP/HIVE interactions
are managed with the support of the administration staff.
* Maintain Health & Safety standards of the service, including
infection control policies and procedures.
* Liaise with Tusla the Child & Family Agency, PHN?s,
Environmental Health Officers, Pobal, County Childcare Committees and
other organisations.
REQUIREMENTS
* A minimum qualification at QQI Level 7 in Early Childhood Care &
Education or equivalent discipline is essential.
* Previous experience in a leadership role in an early years?
education setting is essential.
* A good knowledge of Children First: National Guidance for the
Protection and Welfare of Children and TUSLA Meitheal National
Practice Model and DLP experience.
