In this role, you will be working with management and staff, to ensure
that PACE premises, Priorswood House and grounds are maintained in
line with Residents? needs and with current health and safety
legislation and regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
EXTERNAL MAINTENANCE AND GROUNDS
* Maintaining gardens and grounds of both Priorswood & other
locations as necessary
* Maintaining the external of the buildings eaves, windows, doors
and locks, signage etc)
* Contacting and coordinating external contractors, as necessary
INTERNAL MAINTENANCE
* Maintenance and checks of appliances, heating, plumbing, alarm
systems and coordinating contractors as required
* Repair and maintenance of fixtures and fittings such as locks,
doors, blinds, key cutting, flooring, presses, lights, light fittings
and painting
* Assembling equipment and furniture
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Waste Management
* General cleaning of kitchen and communal areas.
* Monitoring stocks of personal protective equipment, soap,
sanitizers and dispensers
* Managing collection and storage of deliveries (PPE, First Aid,
cleaning supplies, food supplies)
* Liaise with external contractors when they are on site
OTHER DUTIES
Undertake related duties assigned by the Manager, as necessary.
HOURS OF WORK
Flexible Part-time hours ? **Apply on the website** hours per week
(Mon-Sun) on site, in Priorswood House.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
* Experience in a similar Caretaker/Maintenance role would be a
distinct advantage
* Full Clean Driver?s Licence- own transport
* Excellent decision-making and communication skills.
