Ardeen Cheshire Home is a large residential and respite service set in
a beautiful rural location. We offer a friendly, cooperative and
positive working environment and have a team of over **Apply on the
website** employees. We currently have a number of vacancies in our
care support team, all contracted staff can also avail of relief
hours. Successful candidates will receive extensive training and
supports.

THE ROLE?

WHAT WE DO
We provide individualised supports for adults with disabilities to
meet their physical, psychological and social care needs in an
enviornment that encourages independence and promotes well being.

The residential service is based on clear priniciples of supporting
people ?one person at a time?. As a member of the team you will be
committed to rights based, person centred service delivery, be willing
to embrace change and help foster a culture of continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will support individuals in all aspects of their daily lives as
per their individual needs and in accordance with their evolving plans
in order for them to live their best possible lives. You will be
required to establish and maintain relationships with individuals with
disabilities that are based on respect and equality and that promote
their independence.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Hold a QQI Level 5 in Health Care Support or be working towards
this
* Driving license and willingness to support people in the community
* Desire for personal and professional development
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and
written.
* In possession of the necessary documentation to work and live in
the Republic of Ireland.
* Ability to speak and write English fluently.
* Computer literate
* Personal Integrity and trustworthiness.
* Positive Attitude
