PROJECT, ARE RECRUITING FOR THE FOLLOWING TWO POSITIONS:

DOLPHIN HOMEWORK CLUB COMMUNITY AFTERSCHOOLS YOUTH WORKER (**APPLY ON

The ideal candidate will have a real commitment to the ethos and
values of the project and fit one of the following three profile
requirements:

* A professionally endorsed qualification in youth and community work
is essential + 2 years experience of working with young people at risk
is desirable
* An equivalent professional qualification or degree + 2 years full
time experience of working with young people at risk is essential
* Worked as a full-time youth worker without formal qualifications
for at least 3 years ? essential

In addition to the above, the candidate will need to demonstrate a
strong knowledge and understanding of youth work, developmental group
work and children?s education and development; have a proven track
record of relevant experience and clear evidence of working with
children and young people. They should possess a range of practical
skills and attributes suited to working in a team in a need led,
child-centred and dynamic community-based environment.

FATIMA HOMEWORK CLUB COMMUNITY AFTERSCHOOLS EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT WORKER

The ideal candidate will have a real commitment to the ethos and

relevant field e.g. special needs, youth work, childcare or education
+ 2 years experience working with young people at risk is desirable.

In addition to the above, the candidate will need to demonstrate a
strong knowledge and understanding of children?s education and
development; have a proven track record of relevant experience and
clear evidence of working with children and young people. They should
possess a range of practical skills and attributes suited to working
in a team in a needs led, child-centred and dynamic community based
environment.

The Rialto Youth Project (a project of Rialto Development Association,
CLG), founded in the early **Apply on the website**?s, has
established and developed innovative and creative youth work
processes, and is now looking to fill this position with a person of
leadership and vision.

We are committed to developing best practice that meets the needs of
young people, supports community development, and realise social
change in the wider society. This is done through a range of
methodologies and programme responses such as educational support,
arts, critical social education, developmental and recreational
processes ? which are designed to suit the individual/group needs of
young people and in particular those most at risk.

The Project believes in the value of education and part of the
community-based work consists of two Homework clubs where the work
concentrates on community-based homework club support, developmental
and arts-based programmes. We believe in the transformative power of
art and creativity as a way of working with children and young people.
The work is also committed to social justice around questions of
access to education, where children and young people are encouraged to
participate and achieve within the education system to the best of
their ability and potential.
