REDISCOVER FURNITURE PROGRAMME MANAGER

Rediscover Furniture is the Rediscovery Centre?s furniture repair
and reuse social enterprise, specialising in the repair and upcycle of
furniture that has been earmarked for landfill.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for overseeing this social
enterprise. The successful candidate will hold qualifications in, or
previous experience of, working in the furniture sector. Excellent
furniture painting & finishing skills, customer service skills, and
previous experience in teaching or mentoring are also essential for
the role.

Officer?to help us find innovative?circular economy?solutions
to?address current environmental and societal issues. If you are an
experienced Research Officer with a passion for sustainability and an
ambition to?contribute to national policy that will have far reaching
and positive impacts on the Irish economy,?then this is the job for
you.

Reporting to the Director of Policy & Research, the successful
candidate will support with funding applications as well as project
manage research projects and campaigns. Some travel nationally and
within the EU is expected, as part of the dissemination and
communication of research results.

SCIENCE COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT

The Rediscovery Centre is very active in the field of environmental
and STEM education. We offer a range of education workshops for
primary and secondary school students, special needs groups and
adults, which focus on interactive learning about sustainability,
environmental issues and STEM. The Rediscovery Centre is seeking a
Science Communications Assistant to spearhead marketing and
communication activity for science initiatives, working
collaboratively with our Events and Education teams.

The ideal candidate will have some experience in events, marketing and
promotion and a passion for education, the environment and practical
applications of science in furthering sustainability. Excellent
interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude and team working skills are
essential. Flexibility with regard to time commitment is required with
the expectation of occasional evening and weekend work.

The DIRECT Project is an EU LIFE funded project managed by The
Rediscovery Centre, intended to shape and deliver a robust digital
infrastructure to build on the success of the Centre?s work to date
and enable the development of new areas. The project is expected to

will be responsible for all administrative aspects of the project. The
successful candidate will be expected to have a degree in business or

TOUR GUIDE & VISITOR ENGAGEMENT OFFICER

The Rediscovery Centre is an eco-destination and the national centre
for the circular economy. Our vision is to grow The Rediscovery Centre
as a visitor attraction and educational space where we will engage
with people from any background and promote the creation of a clean,
safe environment. This role is key to that vision and will be integral
in achieving this.

Reporting to the Centre Director, the Tour Guide will assist in
developing a positive visitor journey and experience at the Centre and
through digital engagement. The ideal candidate will have excellent
oral and written communication skills with an outgoing personality and
a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be available to
work weekends and occasional evening shifts.
