1. ROLE:

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to provide support to our
organisation?s Fundraising and Communications team in Dublin. Depaul
is a values-led organisation working with a number of services
throughout Dublin and Belfast. This role will be reporting to the
Director of Finance and Communications and will drive and deliver the
corporate fundraising strategy and meeting and exceeding agreed
fundraising targets and objectives ? including working with external
and internal stakeholders to deliver a calendar of activities and
campaigns to maximise corporate fundraising income.

2. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:

* Manage an existing portfolio of corporate donors and partners.
* Use your skills and initiative to deliver a first-class values led
experience for these corporate partners, and maximise engagement and
value for both the company and Depaul.
* Proactively develop, extend and grow the value of partnerships by
creating and delivering development and communication plans and
pitching new ideas.
* Build strong relationships at all levels within the portfolio of
partners.

NEW BUSINESS:

* Develop and implement a plan to maximise income from corporates in
the short, medium and long term for Depaul?s work and in line with
the Strategic Plan.
* Specific focus on maximising long term partnerships to ensure
increase of revenue
* Develop a pipeline of prospects and new contacts through cold
calling, networking, and leveraging the existing Depaul and wider
Depaul network.
* Maintain a consistent level of face to face meetings with new
prospects.
* Prepare and write creative and accurate fundraising proposals and
deliver compelling pitch presentations.
* Preparing ad hoc reports and responding to general financial
queries, as requested.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Build strong relationships internally, working effectively with
colleagues to deliver all aspects of the partnerships and keeping
relevant stakeholders updated.
* To attend internal and external meetings, and training as
required.
* To work closely with the wider fundraising team to rollout new
events, initiatives and campaigns.
* Keep accurate records through files on the CRM System salesforce:
accurately recording all data and keeping a record of all income and
expenditure regarding the partnership portfolio.
* Weekly, Monthly and Annual reports to inform management on
activity and results

The above list is not exhaustive; additional areas of responsibility
may be added over time and flexibility to cover for other staff roles
if required from time to time.

3. PERSON REQUIREMENTS.

* A third level degree in, Marketing, Commerce, business subject is
essential.
* Two years? Corporate fundraising experience in the charity
sector.
* Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering
corporate partnerships and exceeding partnership objectives.
* Proven track record of exceeding financial targets through
proactive partnership development and financial planning skills.
* Good knowledge of fundraising best practice and an understanding
of the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility.
