CARETAKER ? FIXED TERM CONTRACT

CORK SIMON COMMUNITY IS CURRENTLY SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR THE
POSITION OF CARETAKER (SECONDMENT TO HSE).
This is a **Apply on the website**-month fixed term contract and the
post is based in Gabriel Lodge, Enniskeane, Co Cork.
_SOME OF THE KEY DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:_
* To take care of/maintain the premises, furniture, equipment and
fittings and ensure that they are kept to an agreed/appropriate
standard and condition.
* To take care of the premises and contents as far as possible. To
report suspicious happenings and unauthorised persons on the premises.
* To open the access gates to the premises and to unset the alarms.
To ensure the access doors to the premises are open and unrestricted.
* Report and repair (as appropriate) anything that could be a hazard
to the health, safety and welfare of employees and clients.
* Ensuring that the work which must be carried out on a
daily/regular basis is attended to as required.
* To perform such other similar duties as may be required and
generally to carry out such duties as may be required from time to
time by the Employer, Senior Staff or other identified person.
* To take care of the premises and contents as far as possible. To

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS POST WILL:
* Have knowledge about general property maintenance & repair and
health and safety
* Have ccommitment to working to high standards
* Have problem solving/decision making skills
* Maintain safe & tidy working environment
* Be flexible
* Have the ability to work as part of a team and to work on their
own initiative
* Have 1 year?s previous experience in a similar role
