Gay Project: Community Development Worker (6 Month Contract)

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WORKER (6 MONTH CONTRACT)

GAY PROJECT CLG

Thanks to a recent award from the Department of Children, Equality,
Disability, Integration and Youth, under the LGBTI+ Community Services
Fund, Gay Project is pleased to announce that a further vacancy has
arisen for a Community Development Worker, on a fixed contract until

addition to the currently-advertised post for a Community Development
Worker. The two people will work together, and in partnership with the
Gay Project Co-ordinator and Voluntary Board of Directors to implement
the work of the project.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:

* Recognised qualification in Community Development or other related
area and/or 5 years full- time experience of working in the community
and voluntary sector.
* Proven development and implementation of community-based
programmes.
* Experience of successful inter-agency working.
* Excellent communication skills and experience of managing social
media platforms.
* Demonstrate excellent English language skills.
* A full clean driving licence and access to a private vehicle for
work purposes as necessary
(desirable).

Salary Community Development Worker ? linked to Social Care Worker
Grade (with qualifications) commencing at ?**Apply on the

be extended if further funds become available.
