REGIONAL MANAGER (SOUTHERN REGION)

We are currently recruiting a REGIONAL MANAGER to join our Operations
Team on a specified purpose basis to cover a leave of absence for a
fixed term period of 1 year. The successful candidate will be
responsible for the management of our Southern region which includes
residential and community based services in counties Waterford, Cork,
Limerick and Kerry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

* Provision of leadership, direction and support in all aspects of
the operation and performance of Cheshire Ireland services within the
region.
* Lead the process of setting objectives for the region, aligned to
organisational strategy, and put in place robust mechanisms to support
regional team performance and continuous improvement in standards,
safety, quality and excellence of service delivery.
* Ensure the necessary requirements are in place to maintain the
HIQA registration and re-registration of designated centres and
provide support for ongoing service improvements to meet and exceed
regulatory requirements.

Candidates will be able to demonstrate strong strategic, leadership
and people management skills, they will possess a relevant 3rd level
qualification and a minimum of 3
years management experience within the disability, broad personal
social services or healthcare sector.

Candidates will also have knowledge of the HIQA Standards for Children
and Adults with Disabilities, Trust in Care, Adult Safeguarding and
the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Bill **Apply on the website**.
They will also have experience of the HIQA inspection process.

In addition, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate
strong communication skills, including the ability effectively
communicate at all levels, excellent interpersonal skills and
demonstrable ability to build positive relationships internally and
externally.
The role will involve regular travel to Cheshire sites and as such the
candidate will need to have a current driver?s licence, their own
vehicle and be willing to travel for work.
