WE ARE SEEKING A CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER TO LEAD OUR ORGANISATION.

THE ORGANISATION

Outhouse is a community and resource centre for LGBT+ people, their
families, and friends. Our vision is of a vibrant and safe space for
LGBT+ people, groups & organisations that is inclusive of the
diversity within our communities. The organisation is in the process
of developing its new strategic plan to guide our vision in the short
and longer term (commencing January **Apply on the website**).

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Non-Executive Chairperson and the Voluntary Board,
the Chief Executive is the senior executive with responsibility for
the overall management, operation, and control of Outhouse in
accordance with the organisation?s strategic objectives. The role
holder will:

* Play a lead role in setting the vision and strategic plan for the
organisation over the medium-long term, working with Board of
Directors and other key stakeholders.
* Lead the delivery and reporting of the strategic objectives of the
organisation.
* In conjunction with the Board, develop and implement an annual
operating plan and KPIs aligned to the organisation?s strategic
plan.
* Build and maintain linkages with appropriate stakeholders (HSE,
Pobal, etc.) with regard to services and development of programmes
linked to the needs of Outhouse users/LGBT+ community.
* Identify emerging needs in terms of service provision at Outhouse
and ensuring on-going professional standards in current service
delivery.
* Promote Outhouse and its work across a variety of platforms and
with various stakeholders, to ensure awareness of the services and
work of the organisation.
* Act as central point for all Outhouse media communications,
actively promoting the organisation?s work through appropriate
channels.
* Provide management and leadership for the team of employees, CE
scheme participants and volunteers.
* Ensure compliance and ongoing monitoring, with oversight of the
Board, of the Charities Regulator Governance Code, and other
statutory.
* In conjunction with the Board, review and monitor the
organisation?s risk register.

THE PERSON

* **Apply on the website** years+ operating at a senior level in a
relevant sector.
* Third level qualification in a relevant discipline.
* Strong demonstrable experience of delivery in the areas of
leadership, advocacy, management, and fundraising.
* Proven skills working with diverse communities, individuals,
voluntary sector and statutory partners.
* Experience in major funding applications and of developing
services.
* Demonstrable understanding of current issues and developments
within the LGBT+ community and broader charity sector.
