CONTEXT

CDATF is seeking applications from suitable candidates for the role of
YDAP coordinator. YDAP is an under **Apply on the website**?s
interagency drug and alcohol project serving young people in
Clondalkin and surrounding areas. This is a new half time role
(**Apply on the website**.**Apply on the website** hours per week)
that has funding secured for two years. We are seeking a candidate who
can build the capacity of this new project to respond to the needs of
people under **Apply on the website** who are using drugs and alcohol.
The successful candidate will also lead and support a small team in
collaboration with a management group. This is an exciting opportunity
for a dynamic problem solver with the potential to develop a quality
resource for young people of Clondalkin and its surrounding areas.

JOB TITLE

YDAP Coordinator

REQUIRED SKILLS

The successful candidates will possess the following skills

* Strong ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
* Strong ability to work in a systematic manner towards agreed goals
* Strong ability to use required IT systems
* Very strong communication ability
* Demonstrated leadership ability

KNOWLEDGE BASE

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the following

* National Drugs Rehabilitation Framework
* National Drugs Strategy **Apply on the website**
* Under **Apply on the website**?s prevention, interventions and
treatment
* Community development principles
* Youth work practice
* Clondalkin and surrounding areas

EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate would have the following experience

* Management/team leader experience
* Experience of working in youth/school/under **Apply on the
website** treatment settings
* Experience of NDTRS treatment recording
* Experience working in an interagency collaborative manner

QUALIFICATIONS

* Addiction studies level 7 or higher
* Degree in area of health, community work, youth work or associated
area

DUTIES

* Work with management group to develop plan for the project in line
with CDATF strategy
* Other duties in line with CDATF Strategy under **Apply on the
website**?s priorities

SALARY

This post will be linked to Grade 6 HSE scale and paid pro-rata for
two and a half days per week.

LOCATION

The successful candidate will be employed by CDATF and be located in
the CDATF offices. Some remote working may be necessary.

OTHER

The successful candidate will be required to undergo garda vetting.
