OFFICE MANAGER ? PART-TIME (**APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** HOURS)

JOB PURPOSE:

To support the Director of the Irish Traveller Movement (ITM) by
carrying out key functions to ensure the effective running of the
office and information systems. The right person will have excellent
communication skills and proficiency in office-based communication
systems. The person will have a keen eye for detail and be supportive
to a team working in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

* Management of communication with internal and external stakeholders
* Maintenance of organisational filing system, both hard and soft
filing
* Supporting the HR function of the organisation as needed
* Support the preparation of funding?proposals, reports and
submissions
* Assist with event management, including; public meetings,
conferences, training events, AGM, and committees
* Assist?in?the preparation and oversight of
organisational?budgets in conjunction with the?Financial Sub-group
* Coordination and updating of Irish Traveller
Movement?s?procedures and policies where necessary
* Supporting governance and associated structures within the Irish
Traveller Movement
* Management of digital communication, such as website and social
media?profiles

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* Minimum 3 years? experience of office administration and in
developing and maintaining office systems and procedures
* Financial skills including the preparation and management of
organisational and project budgets
* Demonstrable?Information Technology management skills including
Google Workspace & MS Office
* Knowledge of databases, with experience of any client management
database system;
* Commitment to social justice and to equality
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record in
working?within the NGO sector
* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

* A good knowledge of Traveller culture and issues
* Experience of working with disadvantaged and marginalised groups
* A third level qualification in Business, Management, Accounting or
similar
