CHILD AND FAMILY WORKER
FamiliBase are seeking to recruit a full time (**Apply on the
website** hours) Child and Family Worker to deliver Intensive Family
Support and Child and Family Groupwork programmes.
FamiliBase is a centre for children, young people and families based
in Dublin **Apply on the website**. FamiliBase has three strands of
service delivery i.e. Early Years Care and Education, Child and Family
Supports and Youth and Community Supports. FamiliBase operates an
integrated model of practice. Programme delivery in FamiliBase occurs
at different levels i.e. from universal level to intensive wrap around
practice for those with multiple or more complex needs. FamiliBase
could be described as a ?one stop shop? of supports for children,
young people and families.
The Child and Family Worker will sit within the Child and Family
Supports. The Child and Family team provide high quality, evidence
informed programmes to children, young people and their families. The
Child and Family Supports has four programme areas:
* Intensive Family Support Programme
* Teen Parent Support Programme
* Child and Family Groupwork Programme
* Systemic Trauma Therapy Programme
The Child and Family Worker will take on a co-ordination role through
a case management system and will wrap services around each family on
their caseload, both internal to FamiliBase and external supports. The
Child and Family Worker will facilitate evidence based groupwork to

delivery
* Capacity to ensure the organisational policies and procedures
support the needs-led nature of the practice in FamiliBase

supports positive child development, child-parent relationship and
overall child and family well-being.
* Full-time access to a personal car for use within the role and a
full, clean drivers licence is essential.
