Position

Limerick City Build is seeking a Client Services Co-ordinator.
Limerick City Build (LCB) Training Academy was established to create
employment pathways for economically marginalised and socially
excluded people in Limerick City. LCB is a trauma informed and gender
specific programme for men experiencing barriers to employment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Client Services co-ordinator is responsible for the support and
welfare of the clients attending the LCB programme. They provide
complete oversight of all registration and inter-agency linking with
the various services and referral partners involved in the clients
case.

ESSENTIAL

* At least 3 years working in the community and voluntary sector
* A recognised third level qualification in one of the following:
Education, Social work/Care of related discipline.
* Experience of working with vulnerable adults.

DESIRABLE:

* A recognised qualification in one of the following: Education,
Social Work/Care or related discipline.
* Innovative approach with the ability to identify and develop new
and fresh ways to support long term unemployed towards training and
employment pathways.
* An understanding of trauma informed approaches and empathic and
humanistic approach to all work.
* Broad understanding of the employment services, social protection
and criminal justice system.
* Excellent organisational and IT skills and ability to manage
commitments
* Experience of collaboration and building relationships with key
stakeholders (eg. Community Services, Probation Service, Gardai etc).
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create sustainable
relationships of trust with vulnerable adults.
* Clean driving licence and use of own car

DUTIES:

* To ensure the practical needs of the service users are met, and
adequate support is provided for all clients.
* To carry out assessments, training analysis and case management
plans on service users.
* To ensure that service users are engage and participate well while
attending the programme.
* To oversee attendance and follow up where necessary.
* To register all participants on relevant programmes and update
records regularly.
* To keep up to date records of progress and certification.
* To provide support for job prep & CV prep.
* To ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
* To complete reports as required by the Manager.
* To liaise with all outside agencies on behalf of the service users
and any other statutory agencies required in the performance of the
day-to-day duties.
* To manage the environment and respond appropriately to any
incident, conflict or crisis that may arise.
* Participate actively in the success of the overall service,
including attending team meetings/training, and preparing written
reports as required by management and funders.
* Outreach & Community/ Agency visits
