We are seeking a highly-motivated, skilled and experienced DIRECTOR OF
SERVICES to lead our management team and staff.

The Director of Services will provide leadership and management
support in the ongoing development and delivery of a broad range of
services including residential care, aftercare and outreach
programmes, underpinned by the ethos and core values of Don Bosco
Care.

The Director of Services will lead the senior management team and
staff to ensure the highest standard of care to our young people in a
safe, homely environment and ensure that we are always doing all we
can to provide the appropriate support and therapeutic interventions
necessary to address the issues that are preventing them from
fulfilling their full potential.

OVERVIEW OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Leading the senior management team and reporting to the Board of
Directors, the Director of Services will have overall responsibility
for the following areas:

* Strategic & Organisational Development
* Staff Line Management
* Regulation and risk oversight
* Finance & Fundraising
* Quality & Safety
* Facilities Management

CRITERIA

Applicants should have significant senior management experience,
preferably in the area of children and youth, with responsibility for
strategic development, service provision, staff management and
operational budgets at a comparable level.
A background in the delivery of high quality residential care
services, TUSLA service arrangements, HIQA regulations together with
an understanding of Irish public sector funding within the voluntary
care sector.
Core competencies will include; decisive leadership, strategic vision,
financial and commercial acumen, sound judgement, good organisational
and communication skills and the ability to build positive
relationships with key stakeholders.
A commitment to the mission, vision, values and ethos of Don Bosco
Care is essential.
