The Cork Regional Forum of Family Resource Centres: Expressions of Interest
The Cork Regional Forum of Family Resource Centres is seeking
expressions of interest to tender for the development, support &
implementation of Charities Regulator?s Governance Code & Compliance
documentation along with associated training in same.

The Cork Regional Forum is one of 9 Regions under the National Forum
of FRCs. There are **Apply on the website** FRCs nationally.? The
main focus underpinning the work is that: _?all children, families

that is free from prejudice, inequality, discrimination and exclusion,
which will contribute to their greatest possible well-being_?.

The work of the Cork Region of FRCs include:

* Family Support
* Community Development
* Childcare provision
* Low cost Therapeutic Interventions
* Social Prescribing
* Group Support
* Older Persons? Services (including Meals on Wheels)
* Volunteer Engagement & Management

In line with the Governance Code of Compliance the aim of this tender
is to provide a collective response and relevant training to ensure a
uniform level of compliance across the region from **Apply on the

THE WORK WILL INCORPORATE:

* Through consultation with the Cork Regional Forum, complete a
baseline evaluation on the RF FRCs Governance compliance and ascertain
what gaps currently exist
* To strengthen and support the work of the Cork Regional Forum by?
developing a plan to bring the Cork Regional Forum to a uniform
standard of Charity & Governance compliance.
* Develop a virtual database of resources for use in the future for
FRC Managers/ Board of Directors
* Provide a strategic training plan for both Managers/Co-ordinators
of the Cork Regional Forum & their Board of Directors
* Provide training for all Board of Director members in relation to
Governance and Compliance ? their responsibilities & obligations
into the future
* Provide training for all Managers/Co-ordinators in the Regional
Forum in relation to the skills and expertise needed to remain
compliant

It is expected that the chosen candidate will work within the timeline
of the project and provide regular updates on the progress of the work
on a monthly basis.?

TIMELINE:

* The deadline for receipt of applications 5pm on 8th April **Apply

* It is expected that the successful applicant will begin this
project by Mid May **Apply on the website**, with expected project
completion by Mid-October **Apply on the website**.
* The value of the tenders submitted must be inclusive of VAT and to
cover the term of the contract. The price stated must be the total
all-inclusive price for the duration of the tender.
* Payment for associated work will be paid in the following way:

on the website**% upon completion of the work

DECISION MAKING PROCEDURE

* All tenders received will be reviewed by a panel nominated by the
Cork Regional Forum
* Shortlisted candidates may be asked to present their tender to a
panel nominated by the Cork Regional Forum.

TENDER ASSESSMENT WILL BE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING:

* An outline of the proposed approach to the project, including
relevant experience in similar field of work, methodology and a brief
work plan (maximum 1,**Apply on the website** words)
* Applicant?s ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the
tender request.
* Applicant understanding of the Community and Voluntary sector.
* Applicant understanding of the work of Family Resource Centres,
their structures and their work.
* Experience of having previously conducted similar projects.
* Quality of the tender document submitted, with clear timelines and
project plan.
* Details of two relevant referees for contracts undertaken within
the last three years in similar projects.
* Breakdown of tender cost including use of budget throughout the
timeline of the work

accept the lowest cost or any tender, and it may be decided, following
the review of the tenders, not to proceed or to proceed with a new
invitation to tender.?

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

Tax Clearance ? applicant must provide a Tax Clearance certificate
and is responsible for their own tax return.

Subject to Contract. Applicant will engage in a contract outlining
their obligations and timelines as set out in this document.
