POST OF PLACEMENT OFFICER & COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
CORK VOLUNTEER CENTRE is currently seeking applications for the
position of Placement Officer & Community Volunteer Coordinator.
Cork Volunteer Centre provides a service matching individuals who
would like to volunteer, with non-profit organisations who involve
volunteers in their activities. Advice and support is offered to both
volunteers and non-profit organisations through a range of services
including information, consultation, volunteer management training and
Garda vetting administration. Cork Volunteer Centre is a non-profit
organisation funded by the Department of Rural and Community
Development. Cork Volunteer Centre is a member of Volunteer Ireland.
The successful candidate will work to?recruit volunteers and match
them to opportunities; to work with voluntary and community groups to
ensure that there are a variety of identified roles available for
volunteers to participate in; and will coordinate?a team of community
volunteers that will support community events and festivals in Cork
City and County.
