COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT SUPERVISOR (MATERNITY COVER)

Southill Pathways to Employment CLG is a Community Employment sponsor
organisation, based in Southill, Limerick city and working with
community and voluntary organisations in the local community to
recruit and supervise Community Employment participants to carry out a
diverse range of roles, including office administration, caretaker,
gardener, caf? assistant and sports club maintenance.

We would like to recruit a full-time Community Employment Supervisor
for a maternity leave position from late May to late November **Apply
on the website** who will be responsible for carrying out the
Supervisor role in line with Department of Social Protection
guidelines.

CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

* A Major 3rd Level qualification (NFQ Level 6 or higher) in
Business/Financial Administration, Training, Human Resources, Project
Management or related disciplines.
* At least 3 years Supervisory experience
* Have strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and
manage workloads and meet agreed targets
* The ability to build and maintain relationships including
negotiation skills and conflict resolution
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills with the
ability to lead and manage people/teams
* Flexibility, adaptability and openness to working effectively with
all stakeholders and achieve results through collaborative working
* Experience of working with vulnerable individuals and jobseekers.
* Capable of directing, motivating, coaching and mentoring
jobseekers.

IT WILL ALSO BE ADVANTAGEOUS FOR CANDIDATES TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

* Knowledge of Community Employment procedures on participant
eligibility and recruitment, financial administration, and reporting
requirements
* Knowledge of payroll preparation
* Maintenance of sick leave, annual leave and absenteeism records
for Community Employment participants
* Assisting participants to progress their training and development
needs as identified in their Individual Learning Plans
* Providing supervision and support as directed by the Sponsor

SALARY: Point 1 of the CE Supervisor scale, ?**Apply on the
