YOUR NEW ROLE
With a vibrant team and rapidly growing business supporting
individuals and families this organisation is looking for a candidate
with considerable knowledge and experience of working in the field of
disability and at least 3 years? experience of managing people.

As the new Disability Service Manager, you will lead and be
responsible for the management and effective delivery of Disability
Services in your assigned area. You will provide direct line
management, supervision and leadership for the Service and support
your dynamic team and your business at an exciting time of expansion.

As the new Disability Service Manager, you will ensure that the
individuals supported will be treated with dignity and respect,
promoting a culture of unconditional positive regard and compassion at
all times.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

* A minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role in the
area of health or disability; and An appropriate qualification in
health or social care management at an appropriate level (that meets
HIQA requirements for Person in Charge
* Have a minimum of five years? experience of working in
Disability / Child protection / Community care or other child and
family services with a similarly challenging client group.
* Candidates must have a suitable standard of professional
attainments.
* Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability
(including a high standard of suitability and management ability for
the proper discharge of the duties of the office) with a minimum of
three years proven experience in a leadership role.
* Have proficient ICT skills including a working knowledge of
Microsoft Packages - Excel and Word and be familiar with an email
package e.g. Lotus Notes/Outlook.
