THE PERSON

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the achievement
of our mission which is to support and empower our members to provide
the highest quality Early Learning and Care and School Age Childcare
services for children and their families in centres and
childminders? homes. As a member of the team, the Information
Officer plays an essential role in the ongoing development of member
engagement, providing an exceptional standard of support to our
members. The post holder also co-ordinates emerging trends and data
with our Policy, Advocacy and Campaigning, and Research and Data
Analysis teams. We are committed to continually improving our service

Early Childhood Ireland is the leading membership organisation in the
Early Learning and Care and School Age Childcare sector, with over

that every young child is thriving and learning in quality Early
Learning and Care and School Age Childcare in centre-based and
childminding settings.

REPORTS TO: Excellence and Learning Manager
CONTRACT: Full-time, permanent, following probation
LOCATION: The organisation is operating on a hybrid basis. Our
national office is based at Tallaght in south Dublin.

JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of this role is to provide information, guidance and to
work with members of Early Childhood Ireland on issues of relevance to
them, to achieve our vision of quality for children. The role holder
will act as a pivotal resource within the Membership, Excellence and
Learning team, and in providing information and data to the policy and
the research teams.
