ACCOUNTS TECHNICIAN / BOOK-KEEPER
Drogheda Homeless Aid provides emergency accommodation for homeless
men and is also an Approved Housing Body. We are seeking an accounts
technician/book-keeper for a period of one year initially to work

* Qualified to Accounting Technician level (minimum), and at least
two years? experience in similar role.
* Experience of working with Thesaurus and Quickbooks is essential.
* Flexible, dependable, self-motivated, with a proven track-record
working as part of a team.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Preparation of books to trial balance stage and undertaking the end
of the year accounts
* Accounts payable and receivable, invoice matching and processing
* Bank and cash management
* Administer the weekly payroll
* Preparation of budgets and monthly management accounts
* Management and maintenance of rent control
* Oversee and participate in fundraising events and contribute to
the communications and IT sub-committee
* Maintain records of donations and liaise with donors
* Oversee the financial aspects of the Meals on Wheels service
* Attend monthly management team meetings
* Work with management on grant applications
* Maintaining other bespoke software (training will be given)
* Other accounting and financial administration duties as required.
