CONTRACT: Yearly contract subject to continued funding for three
years.

REQUIREMENTS:

_EACH PERSON HOLDING SUCH OFFICE MUST:_

* Possess a relevant qualification in an area of related study (e.g.
Education/Training, Criminology, Community Development, Family
Support, Addiction Studies).
* Possess a good working knowledge of the issues that families
impacted by addiction experience, including drug related intimidation.
* Previous work/voluntary history of delivering training,
facilitation, event organising or proven relevant experience.
* Previous experience of report writing and delivering
presentations.
* Have not less than three years? experience working in a position
in which the coordination and delivery of training was a key aspect of
the role.
* Experience of working to the principles of community development.
* High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite
and experience using CRM systems (Salesforce).
* He/she must be highly motivated with excellent organisational
skills and can work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
* Be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable
prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.
* Flexibility to work unsocial hours is essential.
* Office based role but flexibility to work from home / remotely is
essential
* Full driving licence & access to vehicle essential.
* Liaise cooperate and work closely with Drug and Alcohol Task Force
Coordinators and or any organisation/officer nominated to work on
their behalf and other key stakeholders
* Demonstrate ability to develop and sustain good working
relationships with a range of stakeholders in this field.
* Demonstrate a good understanding of the National Drugs Strategy
and other related social policies.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The key functions of this post fall under the following broad
headings:

_DEVELOPMENT AND OUTREACH;_

* Carry out a mapping exercise to identify a needs analysis of
supports and capacity to support service users impacted by DRI
nationally to inform focus of DRI reporting programme supports. This
analysis will be done in partnership with regional and local Drug and
Alcohol Taskforces.

_BEST PRACTICE_

* Coordinate DRI training programme nationally;

* ? Coordinate a train the trainer programme to allow for area based
DRI reporting programme co- trainers.
* Organise and facilitate DRI reporting programme training in areas
where trained staff do not exist.
* Provide training within certain key organisations, e.g. Probation,
HSE, Family Resource Centres, MABS, Citizen?s Information, Public
Participation Networks, policing forums.
* Act as the point of contact to facilitate training/information
sessions with the National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
* Review and amend training/training materials as appropriate

_PUBLIC AWARENESS_

* Review, publish and disseminate materials promoting the programme,
engaging with written, visual and social media.
* Coordinate a national public awareness programme in partnership
with NDOCB, Dept of Health and Dept of Justice ?
Events/Materials/Media/Press. Ensure that the voice of service users
is captured to promote message of campaign.
