SPIRASI ? P/T PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Spirasi is an NGO that provides holistic rehabilitation services for
survivors of torture throughout Ireland. We are looking to recruit
accredited and experienced psychotherapists for one day a week to
provide therapeutic interventions to survivors of torture. There are
two positions available.
* WATERFORD: This position will be based in Waterford, but the
successful candidate will work remotely using phone and online
platforms during our Covid response. They will be working in the
Waterford City Centre post-Covid restrictions. This position is one
day a week.
* ONLINE: The second position is a remote therapist position and the
successful candidate will remain working remotely without being based
in any one location post-Covid. They will provide therapeutic support
and intervention using phone and online video technology. Face-to-face
sessions may be possible once the current restrictions due to

geographic location of the candidate allows for it. This position is
one day a week.
The candidates will be able to deliver both individual and group
interventions via phone and online platforms to people who have
survived torture and other serious human rights violations, who come
from a range of cultures and backgrounds. This work will include the
use of interpreters where necessary.
