Michael Fitzpatrick Architects Ltd are currently seeking an
experienced, talented, and motivated Senior Architect to join their
team in Cavan to work on a number of varied projects in the
commercial, residential, education and sports sectors.
The successful candidate will be accustomed to leading projects while
also working as part of a team in the delivery of projects throughout
all stages, liaising directly with clients, consultants and other
stakeholders, preparation of technical documentation, administering
building contracts, dealing with day to day site queries and carrying
out site inspection reports.
The role will also include working closely with the practice director
and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to further
develop their BIM project experience. The role will be client facing
and therefore strong communication skills, both oral and written, are
essential.
Job Requirements
Minimum 6 years? experience (post-graduation)
Strong knowledge of the Irish Planning & Building Regulations
including BC(A)R
Experience of the Building Control Management System online platform
and process
Experience in the preparation and development of construction drawings
Manage projects including attending site meetings and carrying out
site inspections/reports
Experience in managing client relationships and administering
contracts
High levels of fluency in both written and spoken English
Experience and ability to operate ArchiCAD or Revit while working in a
BIM project delivery environment is desirable
