INVITATION TO TENDER

FOR THE PROVISION OF PLAY THERAPY SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
LIVING WITH DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

TENDER TITLE: PROVISION OF PLAY THERAPY SERVICES

TENDER DESCRIPTION

Aoibhneas Domestic Abuse Support for Women and Children invites tender
submissions from interested parties for the provision of Play Therapy
Services to children and families living with Domestic Violence.

Aoibhneas Domestic Abuse Support Service aims to offer play therapy as
a therapeutic intervention to children and families exposed to
domestic violence who are engaged with our service. Children and
families? exposure to domestic abuse is a deeply distressing or
disturbing experience. It has a psychological, emotional and
physiological effect on a child and on the relationships within the
family unit. Aoibhneas aims to promote the healing and growth of
children and families to help them reach their potential in life and
move towards resolution and empowerment. Aoibhneas wish to offer play
therapy for children with the option of progression to mother and
child or family and child group sessions to support the family in a
holistic manner. The combination of Play Therapy, mother and child or
family and child group support and the work provided in Aoibhneas
Domestic Abuse Support Service allows the child and the family/mother
to receive the therapeutic support they require to progress in their
lives as a family unit.

Aoibhneas requires an accredited play therapist to facilitate play
therapy for children and families of our service in adherence with
Aoibhneas Policy and Procedures inclusive of our reporting procedure
concerning child protection and child welfare concerns. Each family
will be offered an initial 8 play therapy and 4 mother and child or
family and child group sessions.

The following application requirements are essential and relevant
documentation will need to accompany the tender submission.

* Accreditation in Play Therapy as per IAPTP guidelines
* Own practice from which consults will take place
* Comply with tax clearance
* Have insurance in place
* Ability to facilitate ad-hoc referrals
* Ability to demonstrated capacity and experience of play therapy
* Current Garda Vetting

Desirable requirements:

* Knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on
children and families

SELECTION PROCESS

CONTRACT

The contract for this tender will be in place from September **Apply

All tenderers must comply with the requirements as stated above and
provide all relevant documentation as set out.

The Play therapy will be provided from the practice of the successful
tenderer and referrals will be made directly by Aoibhneas CLG.

Successful applications will have to sign a Service Level Agreement
with Aoibhneas and will be subject to review on an on-going basis.

The successful tenderer will be expected to participate in monitoring.

Key Performance indicators, in accordance with the required services,
have been identified and will be included in the Contract. Any
breaches in relation to the Service Level Agreement may result in the
termination of the agreement.

Aoibhneas CLG will not pay cancellation fees where a Play Therapy
session is cancelled with **Apply on the website** hours prior notice.
A cancellation fee in respect of **Apply on the website**% of the
charge is applicable to the cancelled appointment if the cancellation

Please note that Aoibhneas CLG does not guarantee any level of
business under these arrangements. The contract for this tender will
