Is a community response to drug use. We provide non-judgemental
support, guidance and education to drug users, their families and the
community, enabling them to cope with and overcome the effects of drug
use in their everyday lives.

RESPONSIBLE TO: The person in post will report to the Centre Manager.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
* To have responsibility for the development and delivery of a
quality Early Learning Centre.
* To work with children in their group setting through an Individual
Care Plan Format providing targeted work to address specific assessed
needs.
* To form relationships with children and support them in a balanced
environment.
* To involve families by sharing information about child development
and working alongside parents/guardians.
* To deal with issues as they arise in relation to the wellbeing of
children.
* To work collaboratively with team members in planning and
implementing a stimulating programme of activities focussing on
children?s strengths and supporting their individual growth and
development.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Recognised Fetac level 6 on the National Framework of
Qualifications in Early Years
* Knowledge /experience of Highscope desirable
* Experience of working in an Early Years Setting
* Ability to look after children in a loving and caring manner
* Have a strong work ethic
MAIN DUTIES
* To work within the overall aims and objectives of Realt
Beag/Ballyfermot STAR CLG.
* To work under the daily supervision and direction of the Centre
Manager.
