POST: SENIOR INSTRUCTOR

Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (**Apply on the website** hours per
week)
Location: Listowel Day Service

THE ROLE:

* The core activities for the post of Senior Instructor will be to
enable the people we support realise their goals and achieve their
Identified priorities.
* The successful candidate will provide support and act as an
advocate for participation and inclusion in the Community on behalf of
the person we support.
* The successful candidate will furthermore operate within a
framework of a person centred approach and to actively engage with and
promote co-operation and partnership with other services, both
internally and externally and in particular with families.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

* Applicants should possess a relevant third level qualification
(Minimum ? Degree, Level 7).
* Experience of working in a care delivery capacity, preferably
within a disability service.
* A full drivers licence with access to a car insured for business
purposes.

POST: NURSE

Contract: Permanent, Part-Time ( **Apply on the website**.5 hours per
week) 5 days over 2 weeks Week on /week off
Location: Listowel Day Service

THE ROLE:

* We are seeking applications from energetic and enthusiastic
individuals to join our dedicated team for the position of nurse
within our service for adults with intellectual disabilities.
* Candidates must be professional, highly motivated, creative and
passionate about working in Intellectual Disability Services.
* Candidates must be self-driven, focused and strong team players.
* The role of Nurse is to provide holistic, person-centred nursing
care, promoting optimum independence, enhancing the quality of life
for the people we support with intellectual, physical or sensory
disabilities in all aspects of daily living.
* S/he must practice in accordance with the Code of Professional
Conduct as set out by the Nursing Board (An B?rd Altranais agus
Cn?imhseachais na h?ireann) and within the policies, guidelines,
protocols of the Association.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

* Qualified General/Intellectual Disability/Mental Health Nurse and
be registered with the NMBI.
* Experience of working in a care delivery capacity within a
disability service.
* Experience of liaising with statutory and other voluntary
agencies.
* A full drivers licence with access to a car insured for business
purposes.

POST: SUPPORT WORKER

week) 5 Days week on/ week off Ardfert Start
Location: Listowel Day Service

POST: SUPPORT WORKERS

Contract: Fixed- Term ? Relief
Location: Listowel Day Service

THE ROLE:

* The core activities for the post of Support Worker will include
planning and setting goals with the person to assist them in meeting
their personal, social, recreational, academic, independent living,
community integration, training and supported employment needs.
* As a Support Worker you will enable the people we support realise
their goals and achieve their identified priorities. You will also
provide support and act as an advocate for participation and inclusion
in the community on behalf of the person we support.
* The Support Worker operates within the framework of a person
centred approach and to actively engage with and promote co-operation
and partnership with other services, both internally and externally
and in particular with families.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

* QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support. Equivalent qualifications to
Healthcare support will be considered, with a minimum of 2 years
relevant experience working with Adults with an Intellectual
Disability.
* Experience of working in a care delivery capacity, preferably
within a disability service.
* A full drivers licence with access to a car insured for business
purposes.
