Location: Dublin

Positions available for Mechanical Maintenance Techs also -
compressors, Boilers, HVAC, Chillers, generators and assoc control
systems.
Your Role; As the Electrical Maintenance Technician you will work as
part of an Electrical Day Team and be responsible for the emergency
response, operation of electrical services within the data center and
you will fix / stabilize emergency conditions as they arise. You will
align equipment through Electrical or Mechanical switching activities
to facilitate break/fix, Vendor & inhouse planned preventive
maintenance activities across the data centre buildings. Along with
your team, you will ensure all aspects of the facility are covered &
monitored during the day so there is no impact to operations.
Areas; Electrical, Building Monitoring, Fire and Controls etc.
Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Fuel Systems, Switchgear, UPS
systems, Battery banks, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, Chillers, Air
handling units, CRAC units, Fire Alarm systems, and Fire Suppression
systems.
Support all PM/CM activities (MOP) carried out by the PM Team or
Vendors.
Operate and respond to abnormal conditions in critical facility
systems
Follow the Emergency Response Plan
Assist in response to fire alerts, equipment alarms and facility
events.
Ensure site and personnel safety is maintained
Provide detailed reports for any/all incidents on site through a
Computer Maintenance Management System
Ensure notifications are up to date and closed out correctly when
completed.
Use Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to report all
details to include; recording all hours on site for Procedures,
reviews, Permits, Vendor escorts and work performance
Ensure all subcontractors are inducted, verified and permitted to work
onsite as well as carry out work monitoring and inspections of their
work
Issue a daily reports detailing activities and issues that have taken
place and that require escalation.
Ensure that EPMS, BMS, and Fire System alarms etc. are responded to in
a timely manner.
To be considered for this position you will have
Trade qualification in a relevant engineering discipline and
additional training that is relevant to a highly regulated
environment.
Good experience / knowledge in LV power distribution and loading.
Previous data centre (or similar lab) experience - desirable
A good understanding and experience of the electrical and mechanical
systems used in a data Center environment: Feeders, Transformers,
Generators, Fuel Systems, Switchgear, UPS systems, Battery banks,
ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, Chillers, Air handling units, CRAC
units, Fire Alarm systems, and Fire Suppression systems.
Experience of control equipment, including relay logic, programmable
logic controllers (PLCs), building management systems, and their
integration with the data Centre infrastructure.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to
communicate intelligently and effectively
Computer literate with the ability to compile and submit monthly and
annual reports
Ability to monitor and trend operational characteristics (load,
capacity, environmental conditions etc.)
The ability to learn quickly and to gain maximum benefit from
extensive training and development programs
Organised, able to effectively prioritize and deliver within a dynamic
and high pressure regulated environment
