The MooreHaven Centre was established in **Apply on the website** to
provide day services for people with intellectual disabilities (mild
to moderate) in Tipperary Town and the surrounding areas in Counties
Tipperary and Limerick. These services have grown significantly and
now encompass Day Activation, Supported Work/Employment, Day Services,
Training Programme and Residential Services. The Centre caters for
over **Apply on the website** people. The Centre’s Mission is to
promote and support independent living and community integration,
personal development and work opportunities for people attending the
Centre. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

The purpose of the role is to support our residents as needed in their
own homes, with all aspects of daily living skills. The days consist
of learning, leisure and recreational pursuits combined with community
involvement. Community integration is promoted as far as is reasonably
practicable for each individual. The role includes working days,
evenings, weekends and night work.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

* Leaving certificate.
* Minimum Level 5 QQI Qualification in Health Care.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a similar role working
w/adults with an intellectual disability.
* A good level of administrative skills.
* A good level of IT skills.
* A full clean Irish/EU Driving Licence

A strong commitment to caring and an empathetic understanding of those
with an intellectual disability are essential attributes for this
role. The successful candidate will need great people skills, be
flexible and have experience with rapid and complex changing work
environments.
