Role summary
The role of Dairy Advisor will cover Kilkenny and the surrounding
areas and will be an expert in Dairy Farming and the benefits of Milk
Recording.
Responsibilities
*
Promoting the benefits of a Milk Recording service.
*
Advise local Dairy Farmers and build good working relationships with
them.
*
The varied role will include supporting customers through back-up,
Milk Recording, and Dairy advice. Through day to day contact, you will
increase brand awareness, and develop existing customer relationships.
Requirements
*
The ideal candidate will hold a third level Agricultural Science /
Dairy Science related qualification
*
Excellent communication and IT skills, common sense, and drive
*
Self-motivated with a proven track record of working on own initiative
in order to deliver to set targets
*
Good working knowledge and experience of Dairy Farming and the local
community
*
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain good
working relationships at all levels in the organization and especially
with Dairy Farmers
*
Good analytical and problem- solving/creative thinking skills
*
Strong business report writing and presentation skills
*
Excellent working knowledge of Milk Recording, regulations, and
compliance
*
A proven track record in farm liaison activities would be a bonus
*
Experience of working in a role with face-to-face customer service in
the local area
