Environmental, Health & Safety Officer for one of Ireland**Apply on
the website**;s leading mechanical and structural engineering
companies based in Wicklow.
The Role:
* Prepare and review of Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS)
as required for manufacturing and site-based activities of the
organisation.
* Lead and coordinate incident investigations and utilise root cause
analysis. Reporting of findings to site and management.
* Manage and drive the certification process for ISO**Apply on the
website** and other relevant certifications.
* Support training of staff in-house or by qualified external parties
on applicable standards and procedures and maintain training records.
* Reviewing and improving the Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental
management system including health & safety policy and safety
statement.
* Delivering Health & Safety induction programmes for new employees or
sub-contractors working on site.
* Observe personnel on-site and in the manufacturing facility to
ensure EHS compliance. This will include monitoring specialist
subcontractors, agency & direct employees.
Requirements:
* Relevant third level degree
* Experience within construction / manufacturing
