HOUSING SUPPORT OFFICER (WOMEN?S RESIDENTIAL AND WOMEN & FAMILY
SERVICE)
1 YEAR FIXED-TERM CONTRACT | FULL-TIME POSITION
JOB SUMMARY:
The provision and co-ordination of support services to individuals
accessing the Galway Simon Community Women & Families Services. The
successful candidate will work as part of a team, coordinating the
delivery of homeless prevention interventions and coordinating wrap
around supports to women in the high support residential setting, in
transitional accommodation and those living independently in the
community, with the aim of providing ontological security to enable
sustainable independent living and personal development.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
* A Social Care Degree or equivalent relevant qualification
* 2 years? experience working in a similar role
* Have working knowledge of a using a trauma informed approach
* Have a valid and full clean drivers licence & access to own car
for work
* Be self-motivated, and able to motivate and inspire others
* Be computer literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
