Position: Inventory Control - Finance Support (Temporary)

INVENTORY CONTROL ? FINANCE SUPPORT

In line with Industry 4, this is a key business requirement in a
highly automated, complex, lean driven, batch manufacturing
environment with a fully automated storage and retrieval system
warehouse, supplying a worldwide customer base.

Reporting to the Inventory Controller, this role will work closely
with and support the manufacturing, warehouse, quality and finance
teams to ensure company controls around manufacturing, inventory and
financial reporting are maintained to the highest standards. In
addition to inventory responsibilities, the role involves
participating and performing in other tasks within the warehouse /
operations area as they are arising. ?The role also involves
excellent communication and influencing skills as we continually
strive to enhance quality, efficiency and reduce cost. This is a

WHAT YOU?LL DO FOR US

* Inventory Management ? Using inventory dashboards, completing,
entering and reconciling cycle counts using Excel, SAP and WMS,
monitoring and correcting inventory transactions with RDT/WMS, sorting
out inventory issues as they arise and support inventory loss
reduction initiatives and the MDR process.
* Finance - Materials Usage Variance (MUV) reporting in line with
monthly deadlines and ad hoc reporting for MUV and inventory
activities for the plant, ensure timely recording and processing of
inventory adjustments and appropriate inventory control in SAP
* Audits - Prepare for internal Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and external
auditors.
* Operational Excellence - apply tools and techniques to
continuously improve our processes and eliminate waste, work with
cross functional teams to enhance Safety, Quality and Environmental
performance and enhance inventory dashboards and MUV reports
* Production, Shipping, Receiving, ASRS and External Warehouse -
support supply of misplaced materials to production / warehouse as
well as support SAP / WMS transactional queries

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS

* Third level degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Finance,
Business Information System or related field desirable.
* Experience of working with teams in a solution focused
environment.
* Experience in learning and analyzing sets of data using an array
of statistical tools.
* Experience in problem solving both problems and improvement
opportunities in partnership and under supervision.
* Experience or learning of the principles of Operational Excellence
and how they operate in a manufacturing environment.
* Demonstrated excellent computer literacy together with an aptitude
to develop further computer skills.
* Experience in MS Excel, SAP, WMS, Power BI and automated warehouse
management systems preferable
* Organized, methodical, tidy and the ability to work in a
controlled and structured way with a high level of attention to detail
* Comfortable working in a challenging environment and the ability
to drive constant improvement.
* Ability to work on own initiative in an ambiguous environment and
 to work well within a team.
* Excellent mathematical, mechanical and communication skills.
