Automation Developer
We are experiencing a period of strong growth and our business unit is
recruiting and expanding its team to meet these demands for future
development. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated
person to join Grant Thornton, Financial Accounting and Advisory
Services as an Automation Developer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for continuous
development of automation projects, supporting process and system
definition/design, identifying areas of process & data improvements,
working with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and
developing the necessary documentation to support the team across
these key activities.

The position offers excellent prospects for progression and on-going
career development. You will be self-motivated, capable of working on
your own initiative and have the ability to plan, control and complete
automation projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Analysing and understanding the business processes

*
Identifying and communicating the technical software requirements

*
Designing automated process solutions in accordance with standard
design principles and conventions

*
Building the solutions to improve internal processes and enhance
client delivery

*
Playing a key role in providing technology improvement reviews to find
automation opportunities that can drive benefits and efficiencies for
the business

*
Participating in the ongoing development of technology plans and
strategy

*
Providing clear progress status updates to stakeholders

*
Problem solving issues that arise in day to day running of process
automations

*
Ensuring delivery of high quality output through best practice testing
methodology

*
Documenting automation procedures and development based activities

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
*
Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Technology (e.g. SQL Server,
PowerApps, SharePoint)

*
At least **Apply on the website** years of experience in robotics
process automation software, preferably Automation Anywhere

*
Third-level qualification in Computer Science or a related field

*
An understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to illustrate
a written process description as a workflow diagram

*
Track record of delivering automation projects with high business
impact using various technologies

Project management skills

*
Self-starter with ability to use initiative and to priorities with
excellent time management

*
Desired Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages

*
Desired knowledge in VBA, advanced excel, AI, OCR and other emerging
technologies
