JOB TITLE: HEAD OF ADVISORY SERVICES

CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed term contract; **Apply on the website** months

OFFICE LOCATION: BITCI head office is in Phibsborough, Dublin 7; for
the duration of the contract, mainly remote/virtual working with some
travel within Dublin and nationally expected.

REPORTS TO: CEO.

YOU MUST HOLD CURRENT ELIGIBILITY TO WORK IN IRELAND TO BE CONSIDERED
FOR THE ROLE.

JOB PURPOSE:

* Lead the membership advisory team, with responsibility for people,
team, and financial management.
* Develop, implement, and review strategy and action plans.
* Lead on member retention approach and monitoring, including the
account management and service delivery models.
* Lead on service development including service quality, continuous
improvement, and delivery.
* Effective communications internally and externally
* Develop and maintain relationship with key internal and external
stakeholders.

FOR THE DURATION OF THIS CONTRACT, THE PRIORITY RESPONSIBILITIES
INCLUDE:

MEMBER RETENTION

* Primary lead on the MEMBERSHIP RETENTION approach and monitoring,
working with the advisory team and CEO to identify and act on
strategic and critical issues, and lead on the necessary operational &
monitoring actions.
* Work with Advisors on RETENTION MEASURES including participation
in member meetings, liaising with CEO, managing challenging situations
and on-boarding of new members.
* Lead and deliver on actions to support member engagement and
retention including member surveys, service reviews and member
communications.

TEAM MANAGEMENT AND STRATEGY & ACTION PLANNING

* Implement and monitor the TEAM ACTION PLAN, including reviews to
identify areas for improvement, prioritisation & changes in context of
wider strategy, and management of workloads.
* Identify, design, and implement TEAM DEVELOPMENT measures to
ensure the capacity, motivation and engagement of the team is
maintained and enhanced.
* Design and deliver facilitated sessions for the team to drive the
high performance of an expert team.
* Act as direct LINE MANAGER for approx. **Apply on the website**
senior team members.
* Actively participate and contribute to the SENIOR TEAM of BITCI,
providing insights on member engagement and services, the wider
business context, and the mission of BITCI
* Participate in the BITCI strategy planning process, engaging at
both Board and senior team level, and provide relevant analysis and
insights from member advisory services.
* Engage with the Board when necessary to provide relevant updates.
* Liaison with the CEO and senior team on an on-going basis
* FINANCIAL sign-off of expenditure against budget and budget
preparation

IN ADDITION TO THE PRIORITY RESPONSIBILITIES, THE ROLE INCLUDES
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF:

SERVICE DEVELOPMENT

* Manage the MEMBER SERVICE OFFERING AND CATALOGUE, including service
reviews to ensure service quality, continuous improvement, service
innovation and market & member relevance.
* Lead on the team?s project management processes to drive
effective service delivery including management of workflows.
* Act as interim director of the CEO LEADERS? GROUP ON
SUSTAINABILITY, providing oversight, guidance and direction on the
action plans including design of CEO Roundtables, participation on
sub-groups, support to sub-group expert leads, and stakeholder
liaison.
* Input into the strategic planning and operational roll-out of the
BUSINESS WORKING RESPONSIBLY MARK
* Stakeholder engagement including government liaison to support the
strategic priorities and the initiatives of BITCI.
* Design and delivery of events to engage members and input into
organisation-wide events.

ESSENTIAL:

* Minimum of 7 - **Apply on the website** years? experience of
driving, coaching and supporting high performing, dynamic teams with
specific reference to managing teams of experts.
* A thorough knowledge of Sustainability and Corporate
Responsibility, developed through relevant Degree/Masters in a
relevant discipline, and/or through relevant experience within
industry and/or NGOs.
* A strong capacity for strategy and operational management within a
complex environment
* Experience of working with diverse corporate clients ideally
within the context of membership or advisory services.
* Strong project management experience

DESIRABLE:

* A solid understanding of change management processes as applied to
business.
* Strong leadership capability and experience including operating at
a senior management level.
* Robust understanding and experience of audit processes in a
business context
* Relationship management at a senior stakeholder level e.g., Board
of Directors, Government
