HILL STREET FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE IS RECRUITING A

PART-TIME FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To organise and coordinate all finance and office administration and
procedures, to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency, and
safety and to accurately maintain and record all financial
documentation for Hill Street Family Resource Centre working in close
collaboration with the Project Manager.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

* An Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent
* At least 3 to 5 years in a Finance or Financial Administration
role is required
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookExperience
and ability to maintain an efficient and accurate accounts system, to
include, preparation of management accounts, invoicing, credit
control, bank reconciliations (QuickBooks or similar)
* Experience in the maintenance of efficient and accurate payroll
records (Thesaurus), to include remittances to Revenue Commissioners
* An understanding of good governance policies and procedures
* Knowledge of SORP
* Excellent general office skills
* An appreciation and understanding of the challenges and
opportunities presented by working for a small organisation,
* The need to be flexible and to proactively contribute to the work
of the team.
* Ability to work on own initiative, with strong organisational and
time management skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

* Experience of working in the charity or not-for-profit industry
* A recognised accountancy qualification

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To develop and implement programmes that respond to the needs of
families living in the local area, working in partnership with
families and other organisations/agencies. To support and work in
close collaboration with the Project Manager to implement the
specified aims and objectives, in relation to this role, in Hill
Street FRC?s current Strategic Plan.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

* A qualification in Community Development or a relevant discipline,
minimum level 8
* A good understanding of the local community and experience of
working from a community development approach
* Excellent group facilitation, evaluation, interpersonal and
communication skills
* Knowledge and understanding of the issues of poverty and social
exclusion and its impact on the local area
* At least 3 years paid experience of working with and facilitating
groups who experience social exclusion
* Knowledge of working in an intercultural setting
* Strong teamwork ethic and the ability to work on own initiative
* Excellent funding application and report writing skills
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

* Working knowledge of social media as an engagement tool
* Fluency in more than one language
* Event management experience
* Family support work
