SOUTHSIDE TRAVELLERS ACTION GROUP IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR THE
POSITION OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Southside Travellers envisions an Ireland where the human and civil
rights, dignity, hopes and distinct cultural identity of Travellers is
acknowledged and respected. The organisation seeks to play its part to
realise this vision through the design, development and delivery of a
series of integrated programmes which proactively respond to the needs
of Travellers in Dun Laoghaire Rathdown. The overall vision and
direction of the organisation is overseen by a voluntary Board of
Directors.
The position of FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER is funded by the
Department of Justice & Equality.
The post is a pivotal role, in supporting the delivery of the
objectives of Southside Traveller?s Strategic Plan and the financial
operations
The role requires significant skill and expertise in _financial
management and administration_. The ideal candidate will have clearly
demonstrable interpersonal, networking and communication skills. S/he
will also have a demonstrable commitment to equality and social
change.
The ideal candidate should be confident and motivated with excellent
interpersonal and written communication skills. Personal qualities of
integrity, credibility, confidentiality and commitment are essential.
The successful candidate must have an ability to work effectively,
respectfully and inclusively with people from different backgrounds
and with different perspectives.
Candidates will ideally be educated to degree or post degree level or
have equivalent experience. This is a full-time position.
