THE BRIDGE PROJECT IS RECRUITING A PROJECT WORKER FOR ITS CHANGE WORKS
PROGRAMME TEAM.

The Bridge Project is a community based organisation located in
Francis Street, Dublin 8. The project works with adult males with a
history of violent offending. The core aim of our programme is to
address as many systemic barriers to employment for our clients by
offering a wide range of education, training and skills based courses.
In conjunction with these courses, we also address the causal factors
for their offending behaviour through the use of evidence based,
targeted intervention programmes. The desired outcome of this combined
approach is to create active citizens who have the capacity to
contribute positively to their communities.

Following the commencement of our Change Works programme in **Apply on
the website**, which is part of the multi-stakeholder Joint Agency
Response to Crime (J-ARC) initiative, we are seeking an experienced
Project Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be
joining an organisation that is actively working on finding,
developing and implementing sustainable change interventions for
its? clients.

ROLE OF PROJECT WORKER:

_This employee?s duties would include:_

* Carrying out initial and comprehensive needs assessments with their
assigned clients
* From these assessments, supporting the implementation of a case
management plan from which goals, objectives and actions are agreed
and reviewed on a regular basis
* Working closely with the other members of our clients care team
including Probation Officers who are co-located and Garda Case
Managers, as part of the multi-stakeholder Joint Agency Response to
Crime (J-ARC) initiative
* Accurately recording all client interactions, care plans and
events on our client management system
* Providing reports on client activity and progress to the full team
and line manager
* Role model pro-social behaviour
* Assisting clients to develop their own problem-solving skills
* Liaising with external agencies on behalf of and with our clients
in order to progress their care plans
* Engaging with family members and others who could potentially
support our clients in the achievement of their care plans
* Work with each client to overcome their barriers to securing
employment
* Completing six weekly practice supervision sessions
* Attending and participating in staff training sessions
* Adhering to our internal policies and procedures and in line with
our overall vision
* Reporting directly to the Manager of the project

PERSON SPECIFICATION

* Third Level qualification in a relevant field e.g. social care,
social work, addiction, community work etc.
* Minimum three years? experience working with vulnerable adult
target groups such as offenders, drug users, homeless.
* Experience of key-working and/or case management
* Proficiency in using a client management system such as e-CASS ?
desirable
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* High level of motivation to contribute to the overall vision and
work ethos of Bridge
