JOB TITLE: CLERICAL OFFICER

ABOUT:

Limerick City Build is currently recruiting an experienced clerical
officer.

Position to be held at our new premises in Grove Island Limerick and
serving a city-wide client base. The role will be part-time with a
view to full-time, funding dependent.

Limerick City Build (LCB) is a Training Academy that was established
to create employment pathways for economically marginalised and
socially excluded people in Limerick City. Our aim is to create a
social dividend for Limerick City by supporting young people into
sustainable employment and enterprise. We do this by providing a range
of training, employment, enterprise supports and opportunities.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POST: To provide effective and efficient
administration, to ensure compliance with all requirements and manage
all the tasks and duties required to ensure the smooth day to day
running of the organisation and act as overall support to the work of
Limerick City Build.

DUTIES:

* Provision of administrative/clerical support as required by
Limerick City Build.
* Maintain appropriate files, records and databases and produce
shareholders reports as required.
* Provide administrative support to the board. Schedule meetings,
book courses, produce agendas and minutes etc.
* Handle referral enquiries in accordance with GDPR policies
* Gather information for funding applications and reports as
required.
* Manage online banking including payments and transfers, and IT
systems such as SAGE.
* Ensure detailed financial records are maintained.
* Create budgets and spending reports for various grant and funding
applications.
* Create and maintain promotional material.
* Manage social media inquiries.
* Assist in client support.
* Front of house cover.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Strong IT skills with previous knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Excellent numerical and organizational skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* High attention to detail
* Good written and verbal communication skills

HOURS OF WORK

* The is a permanent (subject to funding) post, **Apply on the

* The hours of work will be determined by the staffing needs of LCB
and decided by the Manager unless otherwise agreed by the Voluntary
Board of Directors. The Administrator will be expected to be
relatively flexible about out of schedule work for which overtime will
not be paid but time-off-in-lieu will be granted.
* The contract is subject to continued funding.
* A six-month probation period will apply.

ACCOUNTABILITY: The Clerical Officer will be responsible to the
Manager and to the Voluntary Board of Managment.
