EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIALIST (FULL-TIME, PERMANENT CONTRACT) _WITH
SPECIALISM IN OUTDOOR PLAY, NATURE PLAY._

REPORTING TO: Research and Professional Learning Manager

EMPLOYER: Early Childhood Ireland

LOCATION: This post can be offered on a remote working basis for the
duration, with some attendance at the offices of Early Childhood
Ireland once public health guidance allows this. Early Childhood
Ireland's offices are in Tallaght, Dublin **Apply on the website** and

WORKING HOURS: Full-time, **Apply on the website** hours per week. At
times, flexibility will be required as being member-focused can mean
working outside normal office hours, with occasional travel.

POINT ON RANGE DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE.

JOB PURPOSE:

Early Childhood Ireland is seeking an experienced early childhood
education and care professional to support quality and innovation in
practice, pedagogy and service development in Ireland by empowering
and facilitating our members and providers and educators to be
learners and to translate their learning experiences into changes that
benefit children.

The Early Childhood Specialist will engage in research enquiry with
members, mentoring them through the research and subsequent changes in
practice and service provision. S/he will generate, develop, and
deliver professional learning opportunities to our members, with a
particular focus on creating high-quality outdoor play environments
for babies and young children in Early Learning and Care settings.

This is a unique and varied role for the right candidate, with ongoing
opportunities for professional development and advancement.
