HSE COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE ORGANISATION DUBLIN SOUTH CENTRAL, KILDARE,
WEST WICKLOW IS NOW SEEKING TENDERS FROM INTERESTED
INDIVIDUALS/ORGANISATIONS?TO COLLABORATE ON THE PROJECT BELOW.

BACKGROUND:

The aim of HSE CHO7 Mental Health Services is to create pathways to
community living for all service users, which includes those living in
HSE **Apply on the website**-hour supported accommodation.

Within CHO7 there are approximately **Apply on the website** people
living in HSE **Apply on the website**-hour supported accommodation.
This project endeavours to listen to the voices of the residents and
enable us to understand their wishes for their current and future
living environments. The project also aims to gather the clinical
information necessary to provide the knowledge to the service that
would support the move towards separating housing support from mental
health support for people with enduring mental health difficulties.
The project proposes to carry out the following work:

* Gather demographic information on the resident population
* A.To work with residents to support them to describe their
experience of living in **Apply on the website**-hour supported
residences. Multiple methods can be used _(Photovoice will be one
method of collecting this data)_
B.To work with residents to support them to describe how they would
like things to be in the future in terms of housing and support.
Multiple methods can be used _(Photovoice will be one method of
collecting this data)_
* Describe the current model of service delivery within the
residences
* ?Carry out a recovery orientated clinical assessment of support
needs with residents

The successful applicant will work alongside the existing Project
Group, which includes residents and other people with lived
experience.

OBJECTIVES:

_PHASE ONE- DESIGN_

* To gather and present demographic information on the resident
population
* To work with the Project group to design a process to carry out
points 2 to 4 above
* To work with the Project Group and with Photovoice to design the
process by which Photovoice can be integrated

_PHASE TWO ? TO WORK WITH RESIDENTS TO SUPPORT THEM TO DESCRIBE
THEIR EXPERIENCE OF LIVING IN **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE**-HOUR SUPPORTED
RESIDENCES._

TO WORK WITH RESIDENTS TO SUPPORT THEM TO DESCRIBE HOW THEY WOULD LIKE
THINGS TO BE FOR THEM IN THE FUTURE IN TERMS OF HOUSING AND SUPPORT.

* To work with the Project Group and Photovoice to carry out the
agreed process
* To work with the Project Group to collate and analyse the data
* To deliver a write up of the process in collaboration with the
Project Group

_PHASE THREE: DESCRIBE THE CURRENT MODEL OF SERVICE DELIVERY WITHIN
THE RESIDENCES. CARRY OUT A RECOVERY ORIENTATED CLINICAL ASSESSMENT OF
SUPPORT NEEDS WITH RESIDENTS_

* To carry out the agreed process to describe the current service
delivery
* To support the rollout of the assessment process
* To collate and analyse the data from the assessment process
* To deliver a write up of the process

TENDER REQUIREMENTS:

Submissions must include the following:

* Curriculum vitae (including names of two referees)
* Background and relevant previous experience of the applicant
* Sample of similar work undertaken
* Proposed approach and methodology
* A breakdown of projected costs and hours worked in relation to
each phase of the project
* How the proposal represents value for money
* A copy of Tax Clearance and all relevant Insurance documents.

Successful applicants should have the following:

* Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline;
* An interest and passion for developing processes which allow the
voices of service users to be heard.
* Knowledge of mental health services and policies in the Irish
context;
* Experience using a range of research methods, including evaluation
research methods, qualitative and quantitative research methods, in
particular participatory action research;
* Knowledge and experience of working with multi-agency groups and
stakeholders;
* Experience in the maintenance of detailed, accurate and fully
evidenced time-keeping records;
* Experience in producing high quality evaluation research reports
to publishable standard;
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict
reporting and budgetary requirements.
