Centre CLG (COEC).

We have a vacancy for a Youth Employability Worker to join our team

ABOUT CHERRY ORCHARD EQUINE CENTRE

Cherry Orchard Equine Centre CLG, also known as Cherry Orchard Equine,
Education and Training Centre is a registered Charity governed by a
voluntary Board of Trustees.

COEC is a unique organisation dedicated to supporting young people
living in Cherry Orchard, Dublin **Apply on the website**. From our
one campus, we operate a number of services including Cherry Orchard
Community Training Centre, Cherry Orchard Integrated Youth Service,
CODY Garda Youth Diversion Project and a community horse-riding
school. We are fortunate to be able to provide a one-stop-shop of
youth focused services together from the one campus in an integrated
and seamless manner. This enables us to provide wrap-around supports
to youths most in need and at risk in the local community.

We are very passionate about our work and believe that every young
person in Cherry Orchard should have the same opportunities in life as
any other young person living in Ireland. Our centre operates services
six days per week, from early morning until late in the evening and
engages with up to **Apply on the website** youths per week across
each of the services.

Our vision for Cherry Orchard is a community in which every young
person can achieve their full potential in life. Our mission is to
support and facilitate the empowerment of young people in Cherry
Orchard so they can take control of their own lives and realise their
ambitions and dreams.

THE ROLE:

We recently were part of a pilot _Youth Employability Initiative
_funded by the Department of Children and Youth Affairs. This was a
very successful pilot and the board wish to continue this good work
through a directly funded part time position. The youth employability
worker will engage with youths aged **Apply on the website** years and
support them on their employment journey, focusing mainly on youths
not currently in employment, education or training.

LOCATION:

Cherry Orchard, Dublin **Apply on the website**

WORKING HOURS:

Part time **Apply on the website**.5 hours per week initially
Should additional funding become available this role may be offered as
full time, or additional part time workers appointed
Some evening work will required and occasional weekend work.

SALARY:

The salary is offered in line with the CDYSB youth worker salary
scale.
