TASC are looking to hire someone with experience in social and public
policy research and who is interested in working on ways to transform
research into practice ? through trainings, advocacy and public
outreach. If you are someone with training or teaching experience, a
background in high-quality research, knowledge of the Irish policy
landscape, and an active interest in working to tackle social
injustice and inequality, this might be the right opportunity for you.

This is a part-time (3 days/week) fixed-term contract of 6 months

candidate availability may be extended and made full-time.

The primary role of the Training and Research Officer (TR Officer) is
to support the work of TASC in the areas of social inclusion, health
and democracy. The Position reports directly to the Senior Researcher
and Head of TASC?s Social Inclusion Research Stream (Dr Amie Lajoie)
while interfacing with other programme managers, project coordinators,
admin and communications staff.

Our office is based in Dublin, Ireland and our team is working
remotely at the moment. Working locations for this position are
flexible, but will require time in our Dublin office/ the Dublin area.
Depending on pandemic related restrictions, the TR Officer may also be
required to travel throughout Ireland to training sites and other
locations as necessary.

in Ireland and the EU.

Our social inclusion projects are intersectional and span a range of
socio-economic and cultural areas, including education, financial
inclusion, health, employment, housing and more. We have several
projects that work with marginalised populations and groups ?
including migrants, Irish Travellers and low-income households.
