TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Permanent Full-time

YOU ARE:

A dynamic and energetic team player, responsible for developing ,
co-ordinating and delivering a range of training and development
programmes across the organisation. You are a self-starter who
possesses flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a
fast-changing environment. You have a strong record of implementing
training initiatives within a compliance framework.

WE ARE:

St. Catherine?s Association is a non-profit organisation and
registered charity funded by the HSE that provides care to individuals
with intellectual and other disabilities. We aim to provide a holistic
service from birth to adulthood including Early Services, Residential
and Respite care, Adult Day Services and a wide range of Clinical
Services. The successful candidate will work as a member of the
multidisciplinary team and enjoy a high level of professional support.

JOB ROLE (NON-EXHAUSTIVE):

* Identify, design and facilitate skills development programmes which
maximise the potential of all staff.
* Previous Training & Development experience.
* Analyse training needs in collaboration with Line Managers.
* Develop, design deliver or source efficient, effective training
and development programmes including staff inductions in line with
overall organisation objectives.
* Develop individual training programmes that address skills gaps as
identified through training needs analysis.
* Promote an open knowledge-sharing environment that builds
knowledge, skills and service for the overall benefit of the
organisation.
* Designing and implementing appropriate e-learning strategies.
* Review and evaluate all training and development programmes both
internal and external.

ESSENTIAL:

* QQI Level 8 in a relevant discipline, a training qualification is
desirable.
* Previous Training & Development experience.
* Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
* Ability to effectively plan, manage and co-ordinate resources and
prioritise effectively and work to agreed timescales.
* Be a self-starter who has a high sense of accountability and the
ability to manage multiple projects and effectively prioritise and
deliver.
* A strong understanding of training programmes and curriculum
design.
* Ability to maintain and develop relationships with staff, managers
and all relevant stakeholders.
* Commitment to the purpose of St. Catherine?s and to work within
our values, policies and procedures.
* Excellent IT, report writing and statistical analysis skills
(Including the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint,?OneDrive,
etc.).
