AFTERCARE WORKER

COMMUNITY LYNKS PROJECT IS A DRUG & ALCOHOL FREE, COMMUNITY BASED
PROGRAMME OFFERING EDUCATION, TRAINING, RECOVERY GROUPS, SOCIAL
ACTIVITIES AND A CHANCE TO BUILD A NEW LIFE IN RECOVER

ROLE:? The role of the aftercare worker will be to help build a new
programme that will help people who have become drug & Alcohol free to
build a new life and integrate fully back into their communities by
learning social skills, taking part in training and education and
working on their personal skills.?

REPORT TO:? Manager

QUALIFICATIONS: ?

* Relevant third level qualification (Level 7)
* Experience working in the field addiction
* Be competent and experienced in facilitating groups, Skilled in
task orientated
* Key-working, Case Management and Care Planning
* Demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals
of addiction
* Good interpersonal and listening skills
* Excellent record Keeping and reporting skills
* Knowledge of eCASS
* Ability to work on your own imitative

REPORTING TO:? The Manager

SALARY:? Social care salary scale applies
