Project Engineer


Are you a Project Engineer with a chemical/process background and strong process experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or related sector? Would you be interested in working fin the Dublin plant of a multinational pharmaceutical company? This is a 2 year fixed tern contract position.

Our client is an innovative and forward thinking multinational pharmaceutical company, which manufactures active ingredients and solid oral dosage finished products for worldwide distribution.



Job Description


Work independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities will include ?

Project management and co-ordination within the Production environment

Introduction of new products, equipment and processes to meet all regulatory and operational requirements,

Optimization of new processes to achieve product output targets

Co-ordination of change within the department.

Investigation of process activities to avoid non-conformances

Generation and approval of process documentation, trials and reports.

Generation of Electronic Batch Records.



Ensure the project engineering work is completed in a compliant manner with regard to both execution and documentation.

Provide detailed project specifications, drawings, procedures, and where applicable comply with site GMP procedures.

Design in health, safety and environmental best practice into each project and ensure that all project work is completed in a safe and environmentally friendly manner

Installation, Commissioning & Validation of Equipment

Ensure that project work is completed with minimal disruption and is fully integrated into the operational areas (incl. procedures, training, etc).


Requirements:


The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level in Engineering or Science.

Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related sector.

Experience with any of the following would be a distinct advantage:

Packaging

Artwork

Granulation technologies



Applicants must have the ability to operate effectively as a constructive team player within the technical team.

Good organisational ability is also required to work to and meet deadlines.

Leadership skills would also be extremely advantageous.


Package

Salary: ?55k - 60k pa

Duration: 2 year fixed term contract
